The
BA 1040 is the RCF solution for many of
the smaller PA systems where the basic
requirement is to make paging
announcements, distribute BGM and offer
PABX PA paging access The BA1040 provides
the installation contractor the
possibility to make such installations
simple and give both to the contractor and
the end user additional flexibility and
ease in system set up and control.
This innovative RCF design is an
affordable digitally controlled
system.

The
BA 1040 system is composed of two
devices:
1: The system amplifier unit
2; The paging control unit
(
see pic on right
)
The system amplifier unit is a 2U high and
1/2 rack unit wide metal enclosure with
shape and layout ideal for wall and under
desk mounting.
This unit has a built-in 40W power
amplifier with low impedance and constant
voltage 100V output plus all other audio,
utility connections and power
supply.

Up
to 16 system amplifier units can be linked
on a dedicated BUS using CAT 5
cable and RJ connectors. Each unit has BUS
input and out links. Used in this way,
each system paging control console can
have access to other system units for
general call purpose. The paging control
unit is connected to the power system unit
through a CAT 5 cable using RJ
connectors (5 m of terminated cable
provided).
