3300 Amplifier Control Unit The RB
3300 back amplifier unit is an accessory
board designed to work with constant
voltage amplifiers connected to the RX
3000 matrix system. The board is mounted
on a chassis designed to mount in the rear
of a 19" cabinet rack behind the

When installed on a RX 3000 system, the
board can be used to switch the amplifier
on/off, control the amplifier operation,
activate a backup amplifier in the event
of failure and monitor the amplifier
output via a dedicated loudspeaker mounted
on the
CP3100
control unit.
With an optional SB 3320 fault detection
board fitted, the unit can be used to
monitor the loudspeaker circuit, monitor
the operation of the amplifier and switch
in an overriding priority audio signal to
bypass the RX 3000 matrix signal.
With an optional
LB 3340
digital
automatic level control board fitted, the
unit can be used to automatically control
the ambient signal/noise ratio of a
particular area. A day/night function
enables a lower output level to be set
during night time hours.

Features
The RB 3300, SB 3320, and LB 3340 control
boards can also be used independently from
the RX 3000 system, with the same basic
functions (amplifier-line diagnosis,
automatic switch-on of the emergency
amplifier, control of the ambient
signal/noise ratio). Any emergency
condition can be signalled from a distance
using the specific output
command.
