The frame unit accepts a maximum of 4
audio input boards(
IB 3210 and IB
3280)
providing a maximum of 32 audio inputs per
matrix. The frame can accept up to a
maximum of 8 audio output boards
(OB
3230)
and digital input/output boards
(IO
3250).
Additional frames can be connected to the
system as sub frames to enable the
configuration of large installations. (It
is possible to have additional matrices in
one control system but the input signals
from matrix 1 cannot be routed to the
outputs of matrix 2 etc).
Connections to the frame are made via a
dedicated rear panel
(IF 3260) using removable screw terminal
connectors which are supplied with each
individual module.The frame is designed
for 19inch rack mounting and is 5 units in
height.
