3616 is a desk mounted digital microphone
console designed to work with the RX 3000
matrix system.The microphone allows the
selection of paging areas for the
broadcasting of general announcements,
with the option of preceding the
announcement with one of three chime
signals. LED indication of zone status,
available or busy, is provided for each

Three programmable function keys allow
selection and playback of recorded
messages or tone signals stored on the CP
3100 control unit . If the system is busy,
the microphone unit can be set to record
an announcement and automatically transmit
it when the system is free.
A back-lit LCD module is used to display
messages for both operational functions
and microphone configuration menus.
built in power saving function ensures
that the display back light turns off if
no key activation is made for more than 90
seconds. The electret gooseneck
microphone, supplied with the console, is
fitted with a collar light which
illuminates to indicate that the
microphone is active. Status indicators
(LED) for local microphone fault, remote
equipment fault, communications fault and
power supply fault are provided.
