FORUM
is a totally digital conference system regulating
conference participation, with optional software
and hardware providing voting, audio broadcasting,
recording and simultaneous translation. Up to 120
microphone consoles FMS9411 on 4 lines can be
connected to the main unit. The system is
expandable connecting another FMU9100 master unit.
The installation is extremely quick and easy by use
of CAT5 cables, without using boosters or
splitters.
Forum offers the possibility to assign various
functions (chairman, secretary, delegate) to every
microphone set without modifying the system
hardware. Moreover, through the use of Smartcards
inserted into the microphone base, the system can
upload specific participant data and console
settings (saved the during the setup) the card
providing log in and presences check during the
conference and the voting.

Audio quality is assured by a professional
gooseneck hyper-cardioid microphone that, according
to the version is screwed directly into the base
(fixed installations) or plugged through an XLR
connector (rental/portable) and a high efficiency
high intelligibility full-range speaker with
neodymium magnet. Volume control is adjusted by
push-buttons.

FMU9100

The FMU9100 central unit allows digital connect ion
and management of up to 120 FMS9411 microphone
consoles using four lines (30 microphones per line)
All connecting by CAT5 UTP cable.
An audio reinforcement system can be connected
through 4 LINE level outputs and turned off or
attenuated with the insertion of groups of
microphones and or by pre programmed user
microphone smart cards. Recording and a remote
conference audio system can also be connected as
well as a personal computer via USB or RS232.
Two inputs MIC/LINE can be set by the control PC
with priority or in mixing mode over the consoles.
The FMS9411 includes a Smartcard reader/writer in
order to set up the features for all microphones
and to activate the available options.
The main unit, operating in stand-alone mode,
allows use of the system for a basic conference and
voting thanks to its graphical backlit display and
the interactive pushbuttons.
Simple recall of pre saved presets corresponding to
several different conference configurations, halls
or to various uses of the same space, thus
configuring the same microphone base in different
ways according to the stored file chosen. The same
mic base can become Secretary, Chairman or
delegate, with various various operation modes
(e.g. free or timed conference, with or without
Smartcard, with right or not of voting, a various
number microphone units that can be turned on at
the same time etc.).
Monitoring of the conference can be performed by
means of a loudspeaker monitor or by using the
6.3mm jack headphone output, available on the front
panel.
If used independently, the main unit allows
adjustment of the volume of the LINE outputs (all
together or one only at a time), the front
loudspeaker monitor volume and some basic features
as the calendar-clock.
